Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angeles was walked 4 times tonight, which has made him walk 11 times in his last 3 games. He is now tied for most walks in a 3 game span with Bryce Harper, who originally set the record in 2016. This occurred against the Seattle Mariners, who walked him twice intentionally in the same game. Ohtani currently is a strong candidate for the American League MVP, but it will be harder if he is not able to swing the bat for the rest of the season.
