SO CLOSE to Shohei Ohtani that I could TOUCH HIM! (Fenway Park bullpen)

How did I get this close? Did I need to buy a special ticket? HAHA!! No. Shohei Ohtani was the starting pitcher, so the only thing I did was head over to the bullpen early and then wait for the legend.

Yes, it really was THAT easy, but here’s a pro tip: if you want to get close to the visiting teams’ pitchers at Fenway, don’t hang out in the walkway behind the bullpen because the ushers will make you move. Instead you should claim a spot in the actual seats along the side fence, and you’ll be in the perfect spot to watch these guys up close.

Mike Trout, unfortunately, did not play in this game, but it hardly mattered for the Los Angels Angels. They dominated the Boston Red Sox thanks in large part to Shohei who had a brilliant pitching performance (seven innings, no runs, 11 strikeouts).

Special thanks to my No. 1 fan, Aidan Fink (@aidanfinkofficial on Instagram), for filming me before the game near the bullpen. The rest of this video was filmed by “Fenway Chris” (@yonnernyc), and the editing was done by . . . ME! And FYI, this game took place on May 5, 2022.

Do you like the shirt that Aidan was wearing? If so, pick one up for yourself here:

Want to watch the documentary? (The answer is yes! It’s 95 minutes long and sooooo damn cool.) Here’s some info about it on my website:

Thanks for watching this Fenway Park video. I got lots more stuff on the way, so if you haven’t yet subscribed, now’s the time.
