Shohei Ohtani is out of the Dodgers lineup again after experiencing discomfort in his arm during a swing Monday.
Dave Roberts said he learned Tuesday night that Ohtani “didn’t feel great” on one swing and has not completely recovered. Roberts identified the affected area as Ohtani’s biceps rather than his elbow or shoulder.

The Dodgers will use the upcoming off day to meet with Ohtani and the medical staff before determining the next step. Roberts said everything—including an IL stint—should be considered.
“I would love to go back and have put him on the IL.”
No decision has been announced, but Roberts remains confident Ohtani will return and be available for the postseason.
