Dave Roberts announced that Blake Treinen’s season is over after the Dodgers reliever suffered another shoulder injury while warming up against the Giants.
“It’s unfortunate. He was warming up, and it was the shoulder.”
Treinen left the bullpen with a trainer before entering the game. Roberts said the Dodgers will obtain imaging to determine the full extent of the injury, but confirmed that Treinen will return to the injured list and will not pitch in the postseason.

Ohtani will start the regular-season finale, although Roberts said he may receive only two at-bats.
